Shipping Policy

Because every book is made just for you, we need a little time to print and bind it before it ships. Production usually takes 2 to 3 business days after you place your order, and occasionally up to 4. Larger books or busy periods, such as holidays, can take a little longer.

In the United States, Standard delivery usually takes about 4 to 6 business days once your book ships, and Express about 2 to 3. Addresses in Alaska, Hawaii, and other remote areas can take longer. The total time to receive your book is production time plus delivery time, so most Standard orders arrive within 5 to 10 business days of ordering and most Express orders within 3 to 7.

In Canada, your book is printed in the country and sent by tracked Standard delivery, which is included in the price. Most orders arrive within 5 to 11 business days of ordering.

In the UK, your book is printed in the country and sent by tracked Standard delivery, which is included in the price. Most orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days of ordering.

In Australia, your book is printed in the country and sent by tracked Standard delivery, which is included in the price. Most orders arrive within 5 to 12 business days of ordering.

These are estimates based on our carriers, and they can vary with carrier delays, weather, and the busy season. If an order runs meaningfully late, email us and we will make it right.

We ship to the United States, Canada, the UK and Australia. If your address is anywhere else, you can still design your book in the app, but you will not be able to place an order yet. Some remote areas may have longer delivery times or limited carrier options. In the UK, we can't deliver to Northern Ireland, Jersey, or Guernsey yet.

We would love to ship further, and we are working on it. If you want to know when we reach your country, email us and we will let you know.

When your book ships, we will send a confirmation with tracking, by email and, if you have them enabled, an app notification, so you can follow it to your door. It can take a day or so for tracking to begin updating after a label is created.

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Because production starts quickly, we often cannot change the address once an order is placed. If a book is delayed, returned, or lost because of an address that was entered incorrectly, we may not be able to refund or reship it for free. If you spot a mistake, email us right away and we will do our best to help before it ships.

If a package cannot be delivered and is returned to us, for example due to an incorrect address or an unclaimed delivery, we will contact you to arrange a reship. A reshipment may require an additional shipping charge.

If your tracking stalls, your book does not arrive in a reasonable time, or it shows up damaged, contact us. We will help locate the package and, for orders that are lost or arrive damaged, we will reprint and reship or refund it under our happiness guarantee. See our Returns & Refunds policy for details.

In the United States, sales tax is calculated at checkout where it applies, based on your shipping address, and there are no customs fees or import duties to worry about.

In Canada, any tax that applies is shown at checkout before you pay. Books for Canada are printed in Canada, so there are no customs fees or import duties.

In the UK, the price you see is the price you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Books for the UK are printed in the UK, so there are no customs fees or import duties.

In Australia, the price you see is the price you pay: nothing is added at checkout. Books for Australia are printed in Australia, so there are no customs fees or import duties.
